Starting Notes

This is the start of a small new space on my website: Notes.

I read research papers regularly, mostly around NLP and AI, and I often end up with more than a summary: questions, disagreements, connections to other work, methodological lessons, or small research ideas that I want to revisit later. Until now, most of those thoughts have stayed in private notes or disappeared somewhere between tabs.

I would like this page to become a lightweight public notebook for those thoughts. Some posts may be close to paper-reading memos; others may be short research essays, technical notes, or simply an attempt to organize an idea before it becomes anything more serious.

I plan to write in both Japanese and English when it makes sense. The two versions will not necessarily be literal translations: I would rather make each one readable in its own language while keeping the underlying idea consistent.

This first post is also a test of the publishing setup. The format will probably evolve as I actually use it — which feels appropriate for a notebook.

For now, this is the kickoff. More notes to come.
